SOU Inclusive Art Fun Day a Success!

On May 18th, SOU students organized an open class doing outdoor inclusive art in front of the Student Union on the SOU campus. Students coming and going joined Eliza to create art with paints and chalk. Eliza gave a presentation and
showed a slide show of her art and over 270 students signed a petition in support of creating a program for students with intellectual disabilities on the SOU campus. WHERE'S ELIZA? wristbands and buttons were passed out and Eliza's ceramic art from the her class last fall and some made recently at the Ashland Art Center were on display. Here are links to some of the media coverage and photos of this fun day!
